CONVOCATORIA 2013
“Vaya con esta convocatoria nuestro más sincero agradecimiento y deseos de hacer posible “que llegue un poquito de barro de todo el mundo, hecho con nuestras propias manos, nuestras herramientas de trabajo”
1. Podrán participar todos los ceramistas que dominen las técnicas del fuego, que estén dispuestos a enviar la obra en carácter de donación, con la finalidad de participar, acompañar los conocimientos innovadores e incrementar el patrimonio del Museo Internacional de Cerámica Contemporánea M.I.C.C que ya cuenta con 1375 obras de 57 países .
Cada artista podrá participar con una sola obra.
1. POR ÚNICA VEZ, nuestra Institución y la organización de la
muestra han resuelto incorporar la categoría ESCULTURA (miniatura).
2. Las medidas no podrán exceder :
ESCULTURAS: 15cmx15cmx15 cm.
MOSAICOS. 15cm x15cm x 0.5 cm. Incluido el sustento
3. De la técnica: Las obras a participar se ajustarán a las técnicas cerámicas (materiales, construcción, quemas y esmaltes) No se aceptarán las que no respeten el 70 % de trabajo cerámico.
4. El tema es libre.
5. Los mosaicos deben estar listos para colgar. El gancho para colgar deberá estar atrás, en el centro y a 3cm del borde superior, pegado firme de modo que no haya riesgo de que se suelte.
6. En el reverso , tanto en las esculturas como en los mosaicos, deberán figurar los datos del autor, título y técnicas en forma clara y legible. Tambien el mail del autor
1. Los artistas deberán enviar con la obra:
A) Una fotografía de la misma para ser utilizada en el DVD que editaremos y será enviado por mail..
B) Ficha de participación completa con todos los datos pedidos .N o olvidar el e mail correcto
C) Currículum vitae: en inglés y español
1. La recepción de la obra, con la información requerida, queda abierta a partir del recibo de la presente Convocatoria.
2. FECHA LÍMITE DE ENTREGA DE OBRA: Hasta el 10 de julio del 2013, timbrado postal, por correo nacional o internacional.
3 Las obras deberán ser enviadas por CORREO OFICIAL con entrega únicamente en nuestra Institución. No enviar por carreo privado.

4. El envío deberá realizarse sin valor comercial , y en carácter de donación.
5. La Institución y el Museo M.I.C.C no retirarán obra alguna del aeropuerto.
6. Los gastos de traslado de las obras correrán por cuenta y riesgo de los participantes.
1. El jurado estará integrado por artistas de destacada trayectoria en esta disciplina y de las Artes Visuales en general . El mismo estará constituido por 5 miembros: dos internacionales y tres argentinos cuyos nombres se darán a conocer oportunamente.
a) El jurado se constituye sólo para determinar los premios.
b) Su fallo será inapelable.
2. El jurado actuará los días: 1 y2 de agosto del 2013
. Se otorgarán los siguientes premios:
GRAN PREMIO DE HONOR: será único y puede recaer en cualquiera de las dos disciplinas: .Medalla y diploma

La ceremonia de entrega de premios y la inauguración de la exposición se llevará a cabo el día
3 de agosto del 2013 a las 18, en la Sede de la ASOCIACIÓN CULTURAL RUMBO,.Y MUSEO INTERNACIONAL DE CERAMICA CONTEMPORANEA (MICC) , en 9 de julio 82 en San Nicolás de los Arroyos. Provincia de Buenos Aires. Argentina

1 . La participación en esta Bienal implica la aceptación tácita de todos los puntos de esta convocatoria.
2. Las obras serán incluidas en el Registro del patrimonio del Museo M.I.C.C.
3. Cada participante recibirá el CD virtual correspondiente a la V Bienal en forma gratuita,. Tambien un certificado de participación y registro de obra
. POR FAVOR comunicar cualquier cambio de e- mail para garantizar la recepción de su catálogo, afiche,invitación y certificado.
4. Los miembros del jurado podrán enviar obra como así tambien los dos coordinadores , pero estarán fuera de concurso.
5. Los premiados serán notificados inmediatamente vía e- mail ó telefónicamente.
6. El fallo del jurado será divulgado en los medios de difusión y se publicará en nuestra Pag Web:

8. Cualquier punto no especificado en la presente será resuelto por los organizadores.

CALL FOR ARTISTS
This cultural event counts with the institutional support of MUNICIPALIDAD Y DIRECCIÓN DE CULTURA of San Nicolás de los Arroyos, CENTRO ARGENTINO DE ARTE CERÁMICO and it has been declared to be of “Educational, Cultural and Touristic Interest”.
Together with this call, we want to express our most sincere gratitude and our wish to make possible that “a bit of mud from every corner of the world, made with our own hands, our tools of work,” gets to us.
CONDITIONS
1. Participation is open to all ceramists who are able to handle FIRE techniques and are willing to send their work as a gift, in order to enlarge the patrimony of Museo Internacional de Cerámica Contemporánea M.I.C.C., which already has 1375 works from 57 different countries.
THE WORKS
Each artist can participate with only one unpublished piece of work:
1. ON THIS UNIQUE OCCASION, since we are celebrating the 72nd anniversary of our institution, the organizers of the exhibition have decided to include the category SCULPTURE (miniature).
2. Measures cannot exceed:
SCULPTURES: 15x15x15 cm. including support.
TILES: 15x15x5 cm. including frame or support.
Pieces out of this size will be excluded by the jury.
3. The participant works will have to comply to ceramic techniques (materials, firing, glazes). Pieces with less than 70% of ceramic material will not be accepted.
4. The theme will be free.
5. Tiles must be ready to be hung, with a hook on the back, in the center, 3cm from the top border, and very firm so that there is no risk of it getting loose.
6. On the back of the tile there must also be personal information, title, techniques and e-mail address (clear and legible).
THE ARTIST
1. Together with the work artists must send:
A) A photograph to be used in our DVD
B) Application form with all the information required.
C) Curriculum vitae in English and Spanish.
RECEPTION
1. The reception of the material will be open from the moment of the present call.
2. The reception of the works will close on 10th July 2013
3. Works must only be sent by national or international OFFICIAL POST, NOT PRIVATE to:

4. The mailing must be done with no commercial value, as a donation.
5. Neither the Institution nor the Museum will withdraw any pieces from the airport.
6. Mail expenses will be paid by the participants.
THE JURY
1. The Jury will be made up of outstanding specialists on ceramics and on Visual Arts in general. There will be five members, two international and three Argentinian. Their names will be known in due time.
a)The jury will meet only to decide about the awards.
b)The decision of the jury will not be subject to appeal.
2. The Jury will meet on August 1st and 2nd 2013.

THE OPENING
1. The award ceremony and the opening of the exhibition will take place on 3rd August at 6:00 pm at ASOCIACIÓN CULTURAL RUMBO, and MUSEO INTERNACIONAL DE CERÁMICA CONTEMPORÁNEA (M.I.C.C ) , 9 de julio 82, San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

IN GENERAL
1. The participation in this Biennial Exhibition implies the acceptance of all the items mentioned in this call.
2. The works will be included in the Register of the Patrimony of the Museum (M.I.C.C.)
3. Every participant will receive a virtual CD as well as a certificate of registration of the works. (In case of a change of address, please inform us)
4. The member of the Jury as well as the general coordinators will be allowed to send their works but they will remain out of contest.
5. The winners will be immediately informed of the results by telephone or e-mail.
6. The decisions of the Jury will be known through the media and our web page:

8. Any subject not specified in the present call will be solved by the organizers.
